My Elegant Clothes Wishlist for the Philippines
Hello everyone!
I’ve been dreaming about elegant clothes lately—especially the kind you can find (or order) when you’re back in the Philippines. There’s something so special about the mix of modern minimal pieces, soft modern Filipiniana, and those polished looks that feel right for dinner in Makati, a wedding in Tagaytay, or just walking around Greenbelt feeling put-together.
Here are the pieces currently on my wishlist:
1. A soft modern camisa or terno top by Vania Romoff
I love how clean and elegant her ready-to-wear camisa tops look. The butterfly sleeves done in a simple, soft way feel so refined without being too formal. I want one in white or soft cream that I can wear with tailored pants or a long skirt.
2. Something sleek from R.A.F. Manila
Their dresses always look so polished and quiet-luxury. A midi or drop-waist style in a beautiful neutral would be perfect. Easy to dress up or down and still feel elegant in the Philippine heat.
3. A classic black or champagne midi dress
Something simple with good structure or soft pleats. The kind of dress you can wear to a nice restaurant or a special dinner and still feel comfortable. You can find nice ones at Zara or in Glorietta / Shangri-La Plaza.
4. A modern Filipiniana piece from Juliana Studios or Tygie
I keep seeing their elevated takes on traditional silhouettes and they look so graceful. A set or a dress that feels contemporary but still connected to home would be beautiful to own.
5. A tailored blazer or structured top
Something that instantly makes any outfit look more elegant. Neutral tones preferred—beige, soft black, or ivory. Good places: Univers, Signet, or the higher floors at Rustan’s.
6. One special evening piece
From places like Vestido or Continuiti (or a designer like Michael Leyva if I’m feeling bold). Just one dreamy, elegant gown for those big occasions.
I’m already imagining wearing these on my next trip—maybe dinner in BGC, a weekend in Tagaytay, or just exploring the city looking and feeling soft and elegant.
What elegant pieces are on your Philippine wishlist right now? Tell me in the comments, I love hearing your recommendations!
Thank you for reading.
See you on my next posts.
